ÜGLY
Vertical canvas propped against a pale surface with grey veining, a face painted in soft blue-grey and golden ochre gradients, head tipped back, nostrils and lips outlined in black, top and bottom edges falling outside the frame, work by Robert Bibeau

Untitled

A face painted on a narrow vertical canvas, in soft gradients of blue-grey and golden ochre. The head is seen from below and tipped back, so the nostrils and mouth sit at the centre while the eyes withdraw into shadow at the top. The contours stay blurred, dissolving into the ground.
