Terms of Sale

These terms govern all acquisitions made through the ÜGLY Sculptures website (uglysculptures.com). Sales are conducted by Robert Bibeau operating under the ÜGLY Sculptures imprint, based in the Plateau Mont-Royal neighbourhood of Montréal, Québec, Canada.

For any question regarding an order, write to studio@uglysculptures.com. Responses are issued within two business days.

ÜGLY Sculptures offers original artworks, each unique, hand-produced by Robert Bibeau. Every piece is sold in the state depicted in the catalogue photographs and described in the accompanying technical sheet.

Works are sold as singular objects. No reproduction, edition, or copy is offered unless the work is explicitly labelled as a numbered edition in the catalogue. Photographs illustrate texture, scale, and patina to the extent technically possible; slight differences in colour rendering across devices do not constitute a discrepancy.

An order is placed by completing the Stripe Checkout process on the work's product page. The acquisition is confirmed upon receipt of a Stripe payment confirmation email. ÜGLY Sculptures reserves the right to cancel any order prior to shipment if the work has become unavailable, in which case a full refund is issued immediately.

Payment is processed exclusively through Stripe (stripe.com), which handles card data under its own PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure. ÜGLY Sculptures retains no payment card data.

Accepted payment methods are those offered through Stripe Checkout, including major credit and debit cards. Payment must be completed in full before the work is prepared for shipment.

All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD). The price shown for each work is all-inclusive: it incorporates shipping costs within Canada. No delivery charge is added at checkout.

Applicable federal (GST) and provincial (QST) taxes will be applied at checkout to the extent required by the merchant's fiscal registration status at the time of the transaction. If no taxes are shown, none are applicable to that transaction under current registration thresholds.

Title to a work transfers to the buyer only upon receipt of full payment. Until that point the work remains the property of Robert Bibeau. Risk of loss or damage passes to the buyer upon handover to the carrier.

Shipping costs are included in the displayed price of every work. Delivery is offered at no additional charge anywhere in Canada, and pickup by appointment at the Plateau Mont-Royal studio remains available for any acquisition. ÜGLY Sculptures does not ship outside Canada; an international delivery request may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis by writing to the studio before placing an order.

Buyers located outside Canada: before any purchase, please write to studio@uglysculptures.com so the studio can review the delivery options, timelines and costs specific to your destination with you. A work destined for international delivery is confirmed only once this prior exchange is complete; no international order should be paid directly through the site without the studio's written agreement.

ÜGLY Sculptures' liability is limited to the price paid for the work in question. No indirect, incidental, or consequential damages are accepted, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

ÜGLY Sculptures cannot be held liable for delays or non-performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, strikes, postal or customs disruptions, or declared public health emergencies.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the applicable laws of Canada. Any dispute arising from a transaction shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the judicial district of Montréal.
